Project Overview
To complement the Nexa News web platform, we engineered a dedicated native mobile client designed for deep engagement and rapid information consumption. The app provides a premium, distraction-free reading experience for users on the go.
A critical requirement was reliable performance in areas with unstable network connectivity. We implemented a robust local database architecture (SQLite) that silently caches top stories and images in the background. Users can seamlessly read the day's news entirely offline.
To drive immediate engagement, the app utilizes a segmented push notification pipeline. Editors can dispatch breaking news alerts to all users or target specific demographics based on their reading preferences, ensuring high open rates and relevance.
